Hi Chris I just wanted to mail to say that we had a wonderul wedding party. The venue and the staff were absolutely amazing. We had a lot of feedback from guests to say how much they enjoyed the evening, how beautiful the venue was and how lovely the food was too. The whole build up to the day was made easier by your ability to facilitate every request, and throughout the night Angie and yourself were so on top of things I didn't even have to think. I am writing to thank your staff on the evening of 20th February 2010. I was a guest at Nicky & Graham's wedding and found the staff to be personable, attentive (but not too intrusive) and polite. Just to say thank you to you all for the great service we received for our lunch on Saturday and how much we enjoyed the food. We were saying farewell to our friend, Margaret, who is returning to Australia on Monday having been in the UK since early December. It would be better if the set menu choices were changed a little more often, seems to have been the same choice for quite a few months now. Also you used to be able to get a nice dessert wine by the glass for about £5 now it's so expensive, it used to be nice to have it with our dessert but afraid that pleasure is to costly now.

I was really pleased we decided to book a table at the The Barn on Boxing Day, the food was excellent and we really appreciated that the the children were so well catered for and the cost for them was great. We enjoyed it so much we will defiently be returning very soon and proberly quite often !!! Also the staff were lovely especially the lady that greeted us and sat us down she was so friendly and down to earth, our waitress Laura was also very pleasent and helpful."

I just wanted to congratulate everyone i had the pleasure of dining at the barn on Saturday 10th October, and i must say from the moment we arrived till the moment we left the whole experience was fantastic. Food took FOREVER to arrive, starter to main course was 50 minutes, and then the food was cold ( for everyone ) food was returned and re-arrived after a further 25 minutes, it was reasonably busy but other tables that had arrived far later were completing their meal before our mains had arrived. No appology before we left, was a shame as it was our first visit.

Just a belated note to thank you and your staff for making my 50th birthday on the 5th May such a memorable occasion. Many of my family had flown in especially for the occasion and were certainly not disappointed with the service or the food. It was everything that my husband i had come to expect from The Barn - fresh vibrant food, excellent service with more than a touch of class but all wrapped up in friendly overtones! Thank you so much for the wonderful cake the remainder of which was enjoyed later that night at home with a good glass of champagne! So thank you once again for all your hard work in making it memorable and i will certainly be recommending The Barn as a venue not only for a delicious meal but as a place to celebrate those important dates.
